This is a lovely composition with Dryslwyn Castle in a strong position in the frame. It follows a rule of thirds formula with the horizon placement etc etc. However, my problem with expansive lanscapes such as this in monochrome is that the majority of coloured areas render as weak mid grey tones. I'd like to see this in colour for comparison. There needs to be greater contrast, but the image may be unsuitable for that.
I'll upload a colour version for you Arfon so you can see. To be honest, the reason I entered it as a mono rather than colour was that I do not shoot for B&W very often so did not have many to select from. I liked the gentle feel of this, with the light and shadow from the clouds on the distant landscape.
