The judge wanted this to be worked on radically to remove all modern elements from the background. I didn't take that approach because I was not trying to pretend it was a period photo. I was interested in the way this element of history is still considered relevant in the modern context, and also the implication that this particular fight is not necessarily over. I guess the photo does not make that clear enough. Maybe a title change would help?
